California 5 Day Right of Rescission in Foreclosure

Hey Guys, This is a question for California investors. I heard California has a foreclosure law where if the seller has a notice of default filed there is a 5 day period where they can tear up your Purchase and Sales Agreement within a 5 day window. I asked an attorney friend of mine about this and he had no idea about this law. Does anyone know more about this law or encountered it or have more details about it? Thanks
