After loosing everything, including his own construction business and equipment, he found himself $500,000 in debt.
Rather than waiting for excuses, he went back to learning.
That's when he discovered a more honest way of investing in houses-
one that actually works.
It wasn't glamorous, but it was simple.
But it was the beginning of everything that followed.

Then Everything Changed.
For eight months, Steve worked without closing a single deal.
Most people would have quit.
Then his first deal came together, and everything clicked. He realized that successful investing wasn't about complicated systems. It was about understanding people, recognizing opportunities, and taking action.
What once seemed impossible suddenly became simple.
That lesson became the foundation of how he invests, teaches, and coaches to this day.

Steve Cook has been investing in real estate since 1998. Over the past 25+ years, he has personally bought and sold more than 600 homes and worked across nearly every area of single-family real estate, including flips, rentals, wholesaling, new construction, and land.
He began teaching in 2001, the same year he launched Flipping Homes.com Long before social media, the site attracted up to 87,000 monthly visitors and helped thousands of investors learn the business.
What sets Steve apart isn't just his experience. It's that he's still actively investing today. He's not teaching from theory. He's teaching from the real world.

Through hard work and real estate investing, he began rebuilding his life and creating the success he had always wanted.
Then, on January 25, 2000, everything changed. Steve gave his life to Jesus Christ, and the way he viewed money, success, business, and purpose changed with it. What began as a pursuit of financial freedom became something much bigger.
